The new ASC2 start clock has been used by PST since early July at 2 UCI World Cycling Championships, USA Cycling Nationals, and major Mt Bike downhills. Ski race applications are upcoming.

The ASC2 can be updated by the use of a Flash updater by your ALGE representative.

The new Program 5 allows for 5, 10, 15, 20 second intervals etc.

My FIS World Cup timing team is using the ASC2 for WC here in Lake Louise, Alberta. Our starter, Camille Courchesne, has been spending lots of time reading the manual and simulating various start interval scenarios.

We left two of them running out in the snow overnight to test the battery life. From this photo, you can tell there isn't much snow here, but there is enough to race on.
