Last weekend at the RMTS FIS race here we saw our first athlete of the mens field on the second day of GS clean out our finish on one side. Ben B took out the Transmitter side of a Tag 2-32 finish line and smashed everything to pieces. Ben broke the threaded stud off clean at the base of the photocell and we were down for 15 minutes while we picked up the pieces. In an attempt to rebuild after the damage done I found a few items of interest to those of simaler disfortune. Old chain alge photocell brackets can be renewed with swivels by Bogen/Manfrotto Mini ball head #484. Tag swivels can be replaced with Cullmann Mini Ball head #903. Both are available from camara suppy houses on the internet. Rebuild your broken gear and save! Both swivels sell for around 25-35 online!
