We have been having problems using ALGE and TAG through beam photocells at the same time. We were using the ALGE cells as primary and TAG as backup.
The TAG cells seem to bleed over and prevent the ALGE cells from triggering. Any ideas? originally posted 17 Apr 2001 by Russ Read, MBSEF |

It is not recommended to use the TAG cells with other brands. Your observation is correct as the TAG cells flood the finish with IR light. I would either use two ALGE cells or two TAG cells but not one of each.
