OK,
It has been a long while and I forgot how to program my HL920 start clock from Rally to SKI. I have the HL920 v1.0 software and hook up with a straight 9pin cable with the switch in RS232 IN and I can get info from the clock but can not get it to send to the clock. I have tried null cables and the Normal/RS232 switch in both settings.

The software is greyed out for Grab from clock all the time, but send to clock looks like it is OK, but the ack back is "timeout".

Anybody remember how to switch this back to the "SKI" mode from the rally MODE?

The RS232 switch has to be in the normal position to set the clock. When you set the com port it should tell you if you are connected or not. After you get connected you have to set the color disk and times in the controler program.

I finally figured it out. I was starting the clock and it did not like that at all. As long as I went step by step from the manual it worked fine. Now set for SKI and will return back to RALLY next week.

thanks for putting the program up on your site. I had to restore it from one of my backups from an old timing computer harddrive and I could not find it at Tag.
