Our machine shop has successfully upgraded several ALGE start gates to accept the new solid stick. The gate arm is bored out and the new larger threads are installed. The cost is $100.00 for the upgrade. You will receive your gate back with a new solid stick. Spares are $50.00 each. Any gate can be upgraded but this service is mainly for owners of the dual contact manual close "FIS" gates.

Remember that the upgrade is a one way process. The new stick threads are larger and your older sticks will not work.

Owners of dual auto close gates are encouraged to trade them in on the NEW ALGE STSnM2S "FIS" gate with solid stick.
