The timing installation was put to the test yesterday with a FIS Ladies GS race in the new venue. Timy2 primary and backup, PR1a photocells and Alge Start gate and Display boards. Paula Parker as TC and Esther Delliquadri as TD scored the race with a 11.25 penalty. Young Mikeala Schiffrin who finished second behind Sarah Schleper scored and will have an improved seed on the next list.

Today's race will have all of the foreign athletes who raced in Vail yesterday, coming out to see the all new timing system and venue at Copper. Expect a sub 5 point calculated penalty, applied will be 9 points minimum per FIS rules.
