We have just completed timing the Nor-Am Downhill at Lake Louise and was given the opportunity to use Jim's new Blinky Box.

I must say that it worked beautifully. We had no problems what so ever with the pulses on either primary or backup. The Track was approximately 2.5 km long and we had 4 intermediates and 2 speed traps. We were connected through the Blinky Box for all devices both primary and backup for all channels.

We especially found the Link capability, created for starts and finishes, to be more than useful even on the intermediates. The weather socked in with intermittent fog on a couple of days which would have driven the backup timer nuts if it were not for the Link capabilities of the Blinky Box. We were able to disable the backup pulse THAT HAD no plunger on them and link it temporarily to the primary singles that did have plunger. Even though this does defeat the backup role, temporarily, it certainly kept the race moving without any delays.

Jim, as far as we are concerned your new Blinky Box is a winner.
