The TIDO TIMY docking station has just arrived. This view is the front of the unit. Showing the built in headset amplifier with volume knob, the 2 RS 232/485 PC outputs, the 4 photocell/ power inputs, and the multiport input for a MC-18. The TIDO attaches to the TIMY using the DB 25 port.

The rear view shows the output for the display board. The banana plug inputs access 9 channels(C0-C8)The far white and black output is for an 8 ohm horn. The TIDO comes with a 1 meter cable that connects to the TIMY

The Fred:
Is it optocoupled? Does it have "oh shit" buttons for each of the channels, like the Magic FredBox? James Broder Broder's Skunkware Scoring & Timing Software http://www.skunkware.tv |

The TIDO currently has the pass through DB25 for the addition of the OC-18. Channels 0-8 are active on the OC-18. I am sure ALGE will offer a OC-TIDO in the future as there is a picture of it on their website. The OC-18 plugs directly into the TIMY right now and Channels 0-8 are active. The issue of test buttons maybe solved as well. There is enough room to add them along the top of the case ex factory if needed. I know that these are really handy when testing software. The current tapeswitch control box for Veloresults works through the TIDO in the same manner as the OC-18 and allows the operator to have full headset communication on all channels. We intend to have ALGE make us TIMY tapeswitch controls for next season with headset amps built in.
