National Public Radio aired a brief but very cool segment called "Cyclical Speed Of The Velodrome" on their program "All Things Considered". It mostly concerns the sounds made by a velodrome. The guy who forwarded it to me is a professional audio engineer who stumbled onto it while looking for sound effects.
