I see Versus Network, the US broadcaster of the TdF, still hasn't hired a competent timing guy for their TT clock graphics. The Versus clock still ticks drunkenly, and is about 10 or 12 seconds off, i.e. it jumps forward about 10-12 seconds at freeze time.

This is, what, their 9th year of coverage?

MatSport does a splendid job with the clock graphics on the host feed, Versus should just concede their own incompetence and use those host graphics.

Perhaps they should make up 100000 Chinese stopwatches with the VS logo on them and mail one to each subscriber. Then the home viewers can play "guess the time with Phil and Paul"

Pity that O Grady crashed.

As I remember, time is the same no matter what language. They should be using Matsports graphics, 'cause I don't think TMS likes to go to France to provide graphics for Versus!
