WE have used the comtran program with the comet timer and it works great. I was looking for a way to use the comtran program with the TIMY if at all possible. This would be a nice option! I tried adjusting the baudrate to 2400 in the TIMY the times were transferred but not in the proper format and order. Is there any way to accomplish this in the event our TIMY is used for backup handtiming.

We will do our best to get a TIMY to Bill Gunesch as soon as possible. We can't keep them in stock. They have proved way more popular than we thought!

In the mean time you can set up an Hyper Terminal session in Windows to capture the data from the Timy and send it to a PC. Once you have the two configured appropriatly you can print the data and/or save it to a file and then export it to Excel. I don't have my PC with me today to give you the settings but the next time I go to the mountain I will make note of them and post them here.
