I have been testing club race with our new Timy and I am finding some strange differences between the two when I am in demo mode. Here are the examples:
Bib TIMY Split Second 1 20.96 20.99 2 20.40 20.04 3 22.45 22.04 I am in stopwatch lite when running this. Any suggestions? We would like to order the software as our old system is on life support and it is the only way we can use our old display with the Timy. Thanks! |

After a quick conversation with Fred I have found the solution to my problem. I was using the start and stop buttons on the timy to run the tests. This is a no no as those buttons produce a time with only 1/100th precision and Solit Second is expecting a time to the 1/10000th of a second. If you are running a test, short out the channels at the side of the timy with a paper clip or use the wand and beam.
Thanks Fred! |

Doug from Bryce Resort in Virginia works with Fred using the mentioned paper clips.
The Bear Creek Race Dept. Stopped by at Bryce on their way to Sugar Mt. NC for the final NASTAR pacesetting trials for 2007. Always carry your paper clips! BRYCE_TRAINING_12-07.JPG (47 Kb, 31 downloads) Doug and Fred at Bryce Resort |
