Dear All,

I just got the timy. I try to find out at Dual Timer mode how to auto start with next bibs. I want to use in cycling race to display WINNING TIME and gap time.

I just find from the "Instruction for Alge Time"
Dual Timer point no 15 "You can start another bib right after a finish has happened"

But I can't find the setting in TIMY.

Thanks you for your help.

Rick

If you are talking about using it for a mass start race you would set it up with a jumper from the finish of one course to the start of the other. I usually run the race clock on the left course and the gap time on the right course. In this case jump C4 (left finish) to C0 (right start). This will give the start impulse for your gap to the finish impulse of the race. Start the race clock on the left course when the race starts. When the first racer finishes push a button connected to the jumper and stop the left course and this will, at the same time, start the right course. Your left course display will freeze with the winning time for the race and your second display will start counting up with the gap time. If you want the gap time to freeze for finishers you can use one of the intermediate channels for the right course to stop the gap time and then resume to count up after the set delay. As far as bibs go I usually use a common pair like 1 for race and 11 for gap and do this for each wave of racers (if there are more than one start wave). You really dont have to use more than two bib numbers for this situation so auto loading of bibs is not required. The display will show information for whatever bib is loaded in the start/finish for each course.

The button/jumper that you received should allow you to follow John's instructions. We are away from the office until Monday. We made another Button>DB25>banana plug jumper just like yours for testing. We can test on Monday of next week.

For a D-Line, race number displayed means that SE is set to r9 r2 (where 9 = 9600 baud and 2 = 2400 baud). You need to change the r to S for hh:mm:ss or change the r to h for mm:ss:th

If you have a Gaz4 you need to move the switch to the middle or other end to change to the correct time format.
