I'm having trouble this year setting the date on the timy. I can set the year 06, but when I try the month it won't let me enter 12 , only 0 and one number. The day goes in ok.

Ok. You have the PC data cable that will allow you to upgrade the unit to the current software. Once updated your problem should be solved.

Head to out website and you will find direct links to the "install manager" and the TIMY software to upgrade listed at the top of the homepage.
