The latest flash update to the TIMY sets the default baud rate of the RS232 output to 2400. Split Second programs are expecting 9600 baud.

Change the baud rate under:

Menu
Interface
RS232
Baud rate

Highlight 9600, press OK

Left arrow to exit.

Same message. New Year. Watch out when updating the TIMY. It always wants to set the baud rate faster than Split Second expects.

The current "default" baud rate is 34800.
