We recently bought an Alge S4 for Waterville freestyle. On one mogul event that was running late we needed to speed things up but the display re-set after 35 seconds, too long when the lifts are closing soon. Does anyone know how to shorten the display time in automatic mode to about 10 seconds. Thanks

Sorry. This query seemed to have slipped by. The Automatic program in the S4 is a little cranky. We have never been able to figure out how to modify the reset time. It does seem a bit long. The programmers idea was to lock out other impulses so that the racer on course could finish. 35 seconds must have been determined as a fair period.

We would recommend switching to Program 0 and manually operating the timer.

Altering the reset time would probably require an eprom change.

We will be more than happy to research this with ALGE if the need arrises.
