The TAG 705 outputs display data at 9600 baud on Pin 5 ground, Pin 2 data.

The display must be selected as ALGE in the 705 menu.

The GAZ must be set on Program 1 with the toggle switch in the center.

The TAG/ALGE switch must be on TAG.

Connect the timer to the display. Turn the display on. Select ALGE with the 705 menu. Turn the GAZ off. Turn it back on again. The GAZ circuit board will then recognized the switch setting and will then accept data.
