I have a dual display Gaz that attaches to a our ALGE Coin Op System. I have good power to the board and the line continuity is good but i cannot get any data to display. Any ideas?

Any chance somebody inadvertently changed the thumbwheel or toggle switch settings on the GAZ displays?

The default settings for receiving data direct from an ALGE timer ar rotary dial "0" and the toggle switch in the middle.

Try sending data direct from the timer first.
If that fails then it is possible that the little leads from the yellow and black banana plug inputs are broken. Try getting the signal into the board using the 4 pole amphenol plug. pin 2 is ground and pin 4 is signal. Otherwise pull the circuit board and resolder the leads.

If the board gets data from the timer direct but not with the software, the problem is the rotary dial has come loose and the circuit board cannot "read" the address that it needs. You will have to remove the circuit board, realign the little wheel with the circuit jumpers, and glue the cover in place with goop or similar glue.
