Has anyone figured out how to get a GAZ display, running in "clock" mode, to display time in 12 hr as opposed to 24 hr format?

Alan,
I don't know if you can do it internally, but... You can do it driving it from an external source so it displays the time from a clock running in 12 hour mode. Of course you would have to find a clock running in 12 hour mode... I was thinking maybe you could do it from You can use Alge's GAZ4 Test Program to display "Actual Time". It shows the actual time as the system time on your computer, but in 24hour mode. You could adjust your computer clock without changing the time...and you could drive the board with a computer. I have been able to send data (Basic RS232) over 3000ft on plain copper to drive a GAZ or Dline from a computer) so you could do that, or drive it wireless with your MaxStreams if the Gaz4Test works for you. D-lines have internal 12 hour clocks. Jenna |

Thanks for the reply. The clock is just going to sit out in the snow for an overnight event and I was hoping to avoid going back at just before 1 am to reset it to show 12 hr time. If it could be done internally, that would be best, anything involving even more equipment is just too much trouble. |

The GAZ will not do what you ask. Rent a D-line led board and it will do this and will look great at night.
