Hi, all. Our organization has combined two full sets of Alge S4 timing equipment together to create a dual timing system. However it leaves us with extra start (STSc M2s), finish (RLS1n), and headset (Q34) equipment. If you are interested in purchasing them, they are currently all up on eBay and can be found by searching for 'Alge Timing'.

You need to post the serial numbers of the gear.

A picture of the end of the photocell so that the folks can see whether it has the large (n type) meter or the thin (c type) meter.

think_hooper is me - and I'm the President of Alpine Saskatchewan. Our organization is the Provincial Service Organization (PSO) designated by Alpine Canada as their Saskatchewan representative body for the province's alpine ski sport.

I'll add the serial numbers and requested picture of the end of the photocell to the eBay listing.

Thanks.

The photocell is a RLS1n series made by ALGE in 2000. Note the large meter and surface mount circuit board. This is a good condition example of this product.

ALGE Timing equipment has much higher resale value than TAG-Heuer. The fact that every component of the cell can be replaced/repaired makes these cells an excellent investment. This group has taken good care of their equipment.

The RLS1n shown on Ebay is the 5th version of infrared photocells sold by ALGE since 1978.

The current version is the PR1a introduced in December of 2008.

FYI - I've relisted these items on eBay (search for 'Alge Timing') at a lower starting price.

One more kick at this. The finish eyes and headset are now sold, but the start wands and boxes didn't. Both start units (Alge STSc M2s) have been relisted again on eBay with a low opening bid price of $49 (plus shipping). Search for 'Alge Timing'.

Hi Terry:

Have you sold the Alge equipment? (STSc M2s), finish (RLS1n), and headset (Q34) equipment.
