I don't believe that you actually have one of these with "busted" latches. For heaven sakes, those things are made to military spec. How have you abused it to bust the latches? Hasn't anyone told you to be careful with timing equipment?

Ok. I will be more specific. The cases with the busted latches are RED PLASTIC and were designed to hold a HL series photocell, brackets and reflector. The little plastic latches bust off very easily. The hinge is very prone to wear. I have seen plenty of these come in with duct tape all over them in a desperate attempt to keep the cells from splashing out onto the snow.
