We're using VOLA for a series this week where we have an announcer. With multiple intervals the window layout gets very wide and no longer fits on a single screen. This isn't a huge deal for the timer, but it makes it near impossible for the announcer to follow along. It also doesn't rank the split times, which also makes it hard on the announcer. We ended up just using live timing for announcing purposes but that still isn't ideal. Has anyone else dealt with this or found a better solution?

I'm also not sure if I like the way Vola handles split times. If an athlete misses a split they aren't advanced to the next sector of the course and you start getting prompts to manually enter bibs. On the one hand, it makes it harder to get splits assigned to wrong bibs but the prompts get annoying if you're missing a lot. It would be nice to have a max time for each split, after which the athlete is automatically advanced to the next sector. Any tips on managing splits appreciated!
