We received our two new TDC 8000 timers via UPS. One of them works 100%. The other does not receive any impulses from the banana plugs. Any ideas?

The UPS guy must have really dropped the one box. ALGE packs the TDc 8000 in a real nice cardboard box. The drawback is that the impact gets transferred inside. I have seen this happen. The ribbion cable that connects the banana plug input has been disconnected. Take the 4 screws that hold the timer onto the case off. Remove the timer from the case being careful to reach in and disconnect the battery pack cable. Flip the timer over on its back and trace the banana plug ribbion
cable from the back of the timer to the circuit board. Replace the connector. Replace the timer in the case and test.
