We have an ALGE S4 that always gives a k9 impulse along with each SZ impulse in program 3. I've switched from sequential to split mode on the options but that hasn't turned it off. Any ideas?

Try reseting the S4 to the factory default settings.
This is also listed elsewhere in the forum. Hold the toggle switch up and the yellow button down simultaneously while turning the timer on. Release. Remember that you will have to reprogram the "clr ja" and other settings. |

No luck. Once again after restoring defaults, I get a k9 time on the printer with every SZ. One note I forgot to mention - there is often a .001 delay between the k9 time and the sz time on the printer. They also switch back and forth intermittently between the sz coming first and the k9 coming first.

Very strange. We can send you another main circuit board to swap out. That will definitely solve the problem. Your board can be sent back to us for repair.
