Last weekend during the Masters, my Opto Channel OC18 that I use to filter out false impulses quit working. The meter slowly but gradually swung into the red. I inserted a brand new 9 volt battery, continued the race, but soon noticed it slowly heading back into the red. Bypassed the unit and finished the race, brought it to town and inserted another new battery. Same thing. With Fred and gang in South Africa, does anyone have any suggestions? We have the NW Cup Finals in two days, and this little baby sure makes my days more pleasant!
