As of 1/28/00 the TDc 8000 timer cannot accept more than 10 inputs. An upgrade using the RS485 port is planned for the summer of 2000, that will allow up to 30 channels to be used. Albert Vetter of the ALGE factory confirms that TDc 8000 updates using the RS485 ports on the back of the timer will be the prefered method for future upgrades for professionals.
