Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Many of us use portable generators during the course of timing in remote areas. Please take that extra few minutes to make sure that these units are far enough away so that the fumes don't come back into the timing area. Carbon Monoxide is colorless and odorless and it will kill. Dizzy feeling, headaches, and other pointers can alert you to danger. A $10.00 detector is better. Buying another 100 feet of extenstion cord and getting the unit over further in the woods is the best. Bring a chunk of plywood to make a platform so it doesn't tip over.
