Any one have any experince with tape switches?
Setting up timing system with tape switch at start and finish. The start works fine, but at the finish if you go over the switch at 10 mph it works fine, at 15 mph I get 1 impulse(1 wheel), at 20 mph I get no impluse. I am using this for cycling time trials. Can not figure out why at the higher speeds it is not sensing the tire on the switch. Fred at Phoenix says this is the same switch he uses and does not have that promblem. Any thoughts appreciated.
