Please think of your equipment as you put it away after the ski season. All equipment should be fully dry before closing up inside fully dry shipping cases. All alkaline batteries should be removed from timers, photocells, start gates, headset amplifiers, etc. Any display or scoreboard should be removed from the sunlight and placed indoors. Make sure you charge the batteries before storage and periodically during the summer. When in doubt, leave them plugged in. Batteries that are allowed to discharge past 1/2 of their rated output will not be able to recharge in the fall and you will be disappointed. Call us if you have questions.
