We have recently had several TAG headsets in for repair with broken microphones. The so called Deluxe model can easily be fixed. The microphone element from an ALGE AKG unit makes an acceptable substitute. The economy units are more difficult. We had to replace the entire boom and mic element to repair them. The wires connecting the microphone to the earpieces are small an easily broken. I would recommend gluing the mic boom in place right now if it is working to try to prevent that from happening.
