If that was my startbeep at ABP resort, I had mistakenly run it over with my snocat. it stayed in the track from one course to another when i finally saw it. Talk about durability!!!!

You are correct. This STB1 was still alive and kicking at Attitash. Never heard the snocat story! BTW the STB1 is of course happily beeping away with a newer speaker.
