Does anyone know of a way to associate USSA numbers into an existing race file? I received a race file that I use to run an export to an excel program. One of the fields that I use as a key for the program is the USSA number. BUT the race file I received was missing the USSA number in the race file

First update the points list to current.

Then it is a pain--but go to competitors tab, edit comp, Then put your curser in the name field, and back space till the names apear on the right. Click on the name you want--on to the next.

Why don't you use it to begin with???

The only way I could get the information I needed was to export the data and do some excel tricks to match up the names to get USSA numbers.

As I stated earlier, I received this file from another mountain and the USSA number was missing from the file.

I'm looking at how to use the points list file also as a means to correct issues with race files.

Yes it would absolutely help if the Race Admins had data entered correctly
