| Nope, even with Norton disabled the computer will still suffer damage to Norton files if you install this version. Dont do it if you have Norton PERIOD! |

| I have had no problem, same as Chase, with installation of Split Second Ver 4.92 with XP. I run Norton Internet Secutity 2003. I will try with 98SE and see if I have a problem |

| I've solved the problem related to W98. It was caused by a newer .dll which was part of the installation. When this 'newer' file replaced the existing file it caused older versions of Explorer to no longer function. This has been corrected and I've placed a new installation program at http://www.SplitSecond.comI've tested the installation on a W98 machine and it worked fine. There hasn't been a change to the program itself, just the installation. I'm working on a couple of things with USSA staff and should have the first real release for the coming season (5.00) available in a few days. |

| Specifically I had trouble with the following Norton files on the 98se platform.
(ccEmlpxy.dll), (atrack.dll), (iamapp.dll) were the files damaged on my system and they resided in subdirectories of the 'Program Files' folder. Are these files now safe from the installer? |
