Make sure that the key is installed on the printer port of the PC prior to starting the program. If that still does nt work, reboot with the key installed. Do not plug the key into the back of the Tdc 8000, S4 or the TIMY. You will damage the timer!!! Only plug the Split Second key into your PC.

Are you running Windows 2000?, if so you must install the file from keyfiles.zip, available at the same site as the Split Second software. I do not know but suspect it is also required for Windows XP. If you know please let me know. Good luck. Willy
