This past weekend we learned a little tip about SST. Due to an impending rain storm, we compressed two days of racing into one in a J4-5 championship that consisted of 4 one-run races. After each run, we did an immediate Save As, renamed the file and gave it to our data manager to enter DSQ's etc. On two of the runs, we lost the SST data for the last few racers. Apparently, we should have Saved first before doing a Save As. Our auto-save is set to the 5 minute default. We will set to one minute next year.

We usually do the same thing, too without problems but these were one-run races and we were scrambling to get it done fast. We did not have to enter DSQ's on the original file to create 2nd run start lists. We did a file Save As immediately after the run, before the auto-save feature had a chance to save the file, and the data was lost. Typically, you would leave the file open for a few minutes to enter DSQ's, etc so the autosave grabs the last few times. Point is, if you save the file immediately after the run, Save it before you use Save As.
