I am looking for software and/or instructions on how I can show the running time of day on a HL 960 Scoreboard. I would also like to be able to show a running countdown time (i.e. insert 10 minutes and have the board count down to zero). System consists of a 520 plugged into an older IBM Thinkpad (Windows 98 SE) and the HL 960. Any ideas or places to go?

Assuming that you are using Split Second software, you might not have the correct display selected. It should be in mode 801, both on the timer and in the software. I used one of these last year and it always showed a running time. It would stop when a competitor crossed the finish line and would hold for the amount of time selected in the Setup and Test screen in Split Second. As for the countdown mode, the instructions are in the manual. If you don't have one, go here to download it.

Sorry, I meant Mode 801 on the scoreboard and the software, not the timer.

Since changing the mode is a pain, I was hoping this could be done without having to change the mode from 810.
