Well I have e-mailed both Bill at NASTAR and Geoff but haven't received a response yet so maybe someone here can help me. I do not have internet access where I time NASTAR and I use a desktop so I'm not lugging it back and forth all the time. Is there a way I can put the updates on a disk and bring it over there?

I download the setup file to a desktop, do not open it but copy it to a thumb drive (or disk), copy it from the thumb drive to the desktop of the other computer, and then clik-it to install.

You will if you run the program on two machines. Use your office computer running the program to connect with the internet. Call it machine # 2. Use your notebook out on the hill as machine #1. Transfer the files using the thumbdrive. Sort by date and transfer the most recent .xml and data files from one machine to the other. Go on the internet once you have transferred the files from the race pc to the office pc. The program will ask if there are any files ready to send to NASTAR. Click on the one from today and send. The program will then automatically download the new data base into the office pc. Go back into that folder and copy the data for the next session onto the thumbdrive and transfer it.

You might consider installing and running the program on a thumb drive, so you can do all of your work without having to copy from this and that.
