Can I interface an Alge S3 Timer with SplitSecond's USSA Race Software? I have connected my PC to the timer with a serial port > DIN patch connected to the scoreboard DIN port of the timer, yet the software receives no signal when the timer is activated. Any help ASAP would be very helpful.
Thanks, Pat Revallier [This message was edited by preval on January 13, 2003 at 02:29 PM.] [This message was edited by Admin on January 20, 2003 at 11:06 AM.] |

I use a connection box to get the time input from the S3 to the PC serial port. Another pair of wires is connected to the PC serial port output and sends time data to the scoreboard. It works like a charm.
You can buy the interconnection cable or make your own. |
