Recently, I upgraded to a new laptop and had difficulty getting the StageRace Dongle to play nicely with the software...the software simply wouldn't recognize the dongle.

Here are the steps to get them to play nicely together.

1. If you are running Vista, make sure that you have 100% administrative privileges. (I was not, but have installed it successfully in the past.)

2. Download the Aldaddin Hasp 4 Drivers. (Current for all Windows OS as of 9/20/2009)

3. Install the drivers, without the dongle attached to the computer.

4. Attach the dongle to the computer.

5. Install the StageRace software from the original CD. I had some blue screen of death issues here but were resolved by installing the software from Microsoft Internet Explorer. (Just wouldn't take the Hasp in Firefox...not sure why).

6. Go to StageRace.com and check for any updates and install them now.
