The beginning of May saw the running of an FEI Eventing and Jumping World Cup qualifying competitions on the same weekend in Sydney, at the Equestrian Centre that hosted the sport for the Olympic Games in 2000.

I could not have done this event without the help of two people: James Broder for quickly getting an update to his SJTOD program to cater for the type of competition (Art. 273.3.3) being run; and Fred Patton for shipping a set of TEDs to me within three days for the competition. It took longer get the rest of timing gear from Melbourne to Sydney than it did to get the TEDs from the other side of the world.

I have enclosed a couple of photos of how I managed to mount the TEDs together with the OMEGA OEC 4 photocell.
