I need a new cable that fit to the RS232
smiley DIN socket of an Alge S4.

It's the same socket used for headset also.

Is anybody have the Radio Shack equivalent
number for this plug I must purchase?

you can get the cable directly from the Alge supplier in Montreal. Just call Mike Mullins or Ted Savage at Precision Timing 514-933-0895. They can sell you the cable which I strongly recommend or they can sell you the plugs and you can do it yourself.

Finally, just purchased a simple MIDI
complete cable for 5$. Made the cable
assembly like the pattern in the
ALGE manual for RS-232 communication
port cable.

And it's work fine!
