I am having problems communicating between the top and bottom of the race course. I am using two short haul modems with power supplies and they are wired correctly. I can talk back and forth using hyper terminal but when I try to connect using the softare nothing happens. I am desperate for help.

Do you have the personalities of the computers set up in Split Second? The main computer should be set as system 1, the remote as system 2, etc. This is set as you open the NASTAR software for the first time.

Problem solved. I did not have the switches on the modems set correctly and everything so far is working. Always read the operation manual and it will save you a lot of grief.
