Does anyone know a way to test out data streams that would be sent to a V7000 sequence short of having the controller computer in front of you?

I am looking to do some programming of data to a sequence but don't have the board / controller in front of me. I was thinking, something like James's great Gaz4 Emulator.

Does Dak have something and I need to contact them?
