I've done photo timing for about 38 years so far. With Omega OPS2, and Accutrac untill 93 and with various versions of Finishlynx since then, What are the problems that you are having? The set up and simple operation are well documented in the manual and there are also quick reference guides on the Finishlynx web site. Knowing what options you have would affect some of the hints that I'd give to you.

If the problems are in linking the data management, the manuals for the most of the track and field programs are fairly easy to work through. I really like the Lynxpad program but all that I've seen will get the job done. As I live up in Canada it is not practical for a long phone conversation.
