I have been using Finishlynx verson 2 and have recently been upgraded to verson 5 when new computer installed. The 'mode' used to be 'Ave3' and is now just a percentage, I have set 50% to get a realistic looking undistorted image. At 100% the horses were stretched vertically and the sadle numbers unreadable. Changing to 50% gave me correct proportions but a lower quality image.
Is there an addon or would I need to send more information?

what was your frame Rate and Density set at?

frame rate = 1000
density = 500

Sounds like your capture rate was too slow. Try increasing it to 1500. In general rate is too slow if the image is tall and squished together. it is too fast if the image is stretched out horizontally.
