Hi all,

yesterday I succeed to built my own Wireless Photo-finish camera with my Lynksys 54G wireless Router.

I connect the C box to the camera and connect the Wireless router to the C box. In the other side of the road, I used my DELL centrino lap top. To start the timer, I used the button to manual start with the spacebar because we don't need precision time as thousand of a second in road race...

We have been playing with a set of ESTeem wireless b/g modems for our setup with initial good progress. They can get about 3 miles line of sight with the omni antenna's but can be stretched to about 33 miles with directional antennas. Pricey but may be just the right piece of gear at certain events.

I normally use the lynksys 54g .. I connect the the router directly to the camera .
My pc is over the athletics lane (about 30 mts) and all are Ok..
