Actually we have a Ford IKON car that is about as small as you can get for 5 guys including Humberto. It took 6 trips to get the gear from the Velodromo to the Time Trial finish today.

By the way, our displays, and half of the equipment were held up by Mexican customs for a week. We had to drive over in our own rental SUV to Guadalhara to FEDex to get it on the first day of track racing. We fortunately brought the tapeswitches, photofinish, and pcs on the plane.

Continental Airlines would only let us bring 2 checked bags apiece down here. We had to ship the rest FEDEx overnight. The boxes got here to Mexico overnight. Then the Mexican customs nightmare. We have been spending money like crazy on import duties (15%), freight, road tolls, replacement wire, network parts, etc.

Like almost everything else George Bush has done, NAFTA is a total disaster. Tens of thousands of American jobs are gone as a result of this blunder by Bush (a.k.a. "the smirking chimp") and yet we have similar problems to those you have experienced getting our equipment into Canada (another NAFTA signatory, as is Mexico) every year for FIS World Cup at Lake Louise. It is easier, simpler, and cheaper to get our material to Austria for Kitzbühel than over our own border into Alberta Province.

Perhaps you should write a letter to Bush The Chimp telling him of your trevails. But do so knowing the only recourse that incompetent moron could possibly come up with would be to bomb Mexico. Or possibly to bomb Trexlertown.
