Jim Karnes and the Fred have been working for the past several months on developing a universal weather cover for photofinish cameras. The advantage of this design is that the cover can be removed and the base plate remain. Lense adjustments can be made while the cover is in place.

Fred, i'll take 8 of them.
Can they accomodate the wireless antennas (on the 5l300) --perhaps with the antennas pointing down? This is what i do when i use my 2 gallon Rubbermaid tuperwares.
Can they accomdate the 5l200 cameras as well?

They look great!!

I will have to get a 100/200 series camera to test with. The width will be fine. The height will be the issue with the remote positioner. It will be fine without.

If this is still a prototype I would have one comment: make it a bit higher. The etherlynx 2000 camera is somewhat higher than the camera you are using.

I think a lot of people will be interested in your cover but not to many will have the pro camera. I know 5 teams in the netherlands who will be very intrested in this solution.

Do you plan to "mass produce" these covers. If so I would be interested in the pricing.

The current price is $350.00 per cover. That includes a universal plate for 100>300 series cameras and the cover. The cover has clear sides and an opaque top for heat resistance.
